What is the Studio Tour about?
This annual art event is an effort of working artists in the lower half of the Eastern Shore of Virginia to give their patrons and collectors first pick from the works the artists have been creating over the winter for their upcoming exhibition season. Designed for “day-trippers,” this open studio tour is free to the public from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, and features local artists at several exciting studio stops, plus an additional stop with a special exhibit of works by all participating artists. Meet the artists, enter to win a limited-edition giclée by Mary Ann Clarke, and enjoy early spring on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. You can find a map and driving directions on this site and while driving on Route 13, look for the red studio tour signs guiding you to each exhibit site. ![]() |
